The Balvenie Caribbean Cask 14 Year Old Single Malt Scotch Whisky is a 14-year-old single malt whisky. It's made by maturing the whisky in traditional oak whisky casks for 14 years, and then finishing it in casks that previously held Caribbean rum. The Balvenie Caribbean Cask 14 has a rich, sweet, and creamy toffee on the nose combined with fresh fruit notes. It has a creamy palate with notes of apples and mangoes, and a hint of orange in the background. The finish lingers with a vanilla focussed character. The Balvenie is known for its handcrafted spirits. The barley is still malted in-house, and Balvenie is only one of six distilleries with its own malting floor out of the 100 or so distilleries in Scotland.
